The Molly Dog Blog

This is a photo and video blog of our Rottweiler Molly. I update the blog every Sunday with new stuff so that family and friends who are far away can watch her grow and learn. Plus, I have no life. And Todd thinks this blog is stupid and I like to annoy him.

The Cabin! City Dog meets Country

What do you get when you combine, 3 couples, 3 dogs, 1 baby, a clam bake, hiking trails, 2 rounds of golf and acres upon acres of land? Heaven! (Thanks, Liz and Joe!)

Molly finally got out of the big city and hit Columbus, NY for a long weekend. She didn't spend much time with us opting to play with Riley (English Setter, pictured left) and Mac (Heather and Ben's one-year-old Ridgeback) instead.

There were no elevators, no leashes and no pavement. Just wide open mountain trails and fields to hike in. Molly wasn't prepared to meet her first Lobster in upstate New York. They got along just fine. This weekend, Molly proved she could hang out with babies. JT proved to be a trooper by allowing Molly a lick-n-kiss here and there. We had a great time! Todd survived without TV and Molly survived the four hour car trip there and back. It was a lot of fun!

Heading out into the wilderness - Two Dogs, Five Humans (one baby)

Look, Mom, no leash! Molly followed big Mac and Riley on both hikes. And she kept up!

Grass is Great

Getting the dogs to sit for this picture took a lot of Heather's pancakes.

Running free with Mac the Ridgeback. Mac is named after the Scotch.

Rounding up Molly to go home proved impossible.

But once she got in the car, she dreamt about Riley and Mac all the way home
